Released June 16, 1995 via Epic and MJJ Productions: a double album across three records, half greatest hits and half new material, and the most defensive, most personal record Michael Jackson ever made. He wrote it in the aftermath of the 1993 allegations, and the anger sits on the surface of every new track.

Sides A to C collect fifteen singles digitally remastered, "Billie Jean" through "Heal the World." Sides D to F are HIStory Continues: "Scream," the duet with Janet produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, "They Don't Care About Us" in its unedited form, "Stranger in Moscow," "Earth Song," "D.S." with its unmistakeable target, "Tabloid Junkie," and a closing reading of Chaplin's "Smile". Dallas Austin and Bruce Swedien built "2 Bad" and "This Time Around."

150 minutes of music. European pressing, pressed at Sony/CBS Haarlem, gatefold sleeve with the 52-page HIStory colour booklet. Long out of print and increasingly difficult to find.
