Released March 9, 1993 via A&M: Sting's fourth solo album, produced with Hugh Padgham and recorded at his Lake House estate in Wiltshire. The record runs on jazz-trained musicianship, literate songwriting, and a warm, organic studio sound. "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" opens with one of his sharpest hooks. "Fields of Gold" and "Shape of My Heart" became standards covered for decades after. "Seven Days" moves in a loping 5/4. The album took two Grammys and pushed Sting deeper into the songwriter's craft that defined his post-Police career. This is the 2016 A&M 180g reissue, pressed at Optimal Media with lacquers cut at Abbey Road and mastering by Bob Ludwig. Issued with a printed color lyric sheet.
