// Liner notes
Scorpions back on hard rock ground, and the first album with bassist Paweł Mąciwoda.
Released May 4, 2004 via Ariola / BMG. Produced by Erwin Musper with the band and recorded in Hannover between October 2003 and January 2004, it was their first album of new songs since Eye II Eye (1999), after the orchestral Moment of Glory and the unplugged Acoustica.
The band wrote more than 150 songs for it, recorded 21 and kept 12, plus a bonus track. The result is heavier and more direct than Eye II Eye: Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs lead with riffs on "New Generation" and the single "Love 'em or Leave 'em," and the bonus track "Remember the Good Times (Retro Garage Mix)" closes the disc. Unbreakable reached No. 4 in Germany.
