Short n’ Sweet Deluxe (Pearl Opaque 2LP) (Exclusive LMTD Edition)

Released August 23, 2024 via Island, Short n' Sweet is Sabrina Carpenter's sixth album, made with Jack Antonoff, Julian Bunetta, Ian Kirkpatrick and John Ryan. "Espresso" came out that April and ran the summer, "Please Please Please" gave her a first Hot 100 No. 1, and "Taste" went to No. 2. Most of the record runs on double entendres delivered deadpan over disco, country and soft-rock arrangements, and the punchline usually is the chorus. Not every critic bought it: one longtime AllMusic reviewer found her mannerisms grew "increasingly grating with each successive spin," and still called the record best "when it's, well, short and sweet."

It opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 362,000 units, a thousand ahead of Travis Scott. At the 67th Grammys it won Best Pop Vocal Album, and "Espresso" took Best Pop Solo Performance.

The deluxe edition, issued February 14, 2025, adds "15 Minutes," "Couldn't Make It Any Harder," "Busy Woman," "Bad Reviews" and a new "Please Please Please" with Dolly Parton. This is the limited exclusive US pressing on two pearl opaque LPs, in a gatefold with a die-cut inner sleeve, a poster and a double-sided insert carrying the tracklist and credits.
