// Liner notes
Written in German. Letters to Michael Jackson, written after his death.
First published in English in 2009, Theresa J. Gonsalves' Remember the Time: A True Intimate Look at Michael Jackson appears here in its German translation, Ein wahrhaft intimer Blick auf Michael Jackson.
Gonsalves, a Boston-born writer, frames the book as letters addressed to Jackson in the afterlife, going back over the correspondence that, in her account, brought the two of them together and the time she spent in his orbit. She first told that story in 2004, in Obsessions: The Shocking True Story of the Real Billie Jean in Michael Jackson's Life, and Remember the Time returns to it after his death in 2009. A pencil portrait of Jackson reading a letter fills the cover.
A short, personal book (the English original runs to 80 pages) and a fan-world document of the kind that circulates outside the official biographies. The claims about the relationship are the author's own account.
