Released May 12, 2017 via Columbia & Erskine: Harry Styles' first solo album after One Direction, recorded with producer Jeff Bhasker and a live band built around guitarist Mitch Rowland. The record reaches back to seventies glam, soft rock, and arena balladry, pulling its DNA from Bowie, Bolan, and the Columbia rock catalog. "Sign of the Times" runs near six minutes and carries the whole thesis. "Kiwi" is distortion and swagger. "Two Ghosts" and "From the Dining Table" close in on the bone. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and established Styles as a serious solo artist.
