// Liner notes
FKA twigs' Grammy-winning third album, born in the techno warehouses of Prague.
Released January 24, 2025 via Young and Atlantic, EUSEXUA is FKA twigs' first album in six years. She moved to Prague a couple of summers before filming The Crow, spent the summer of 2022 in the city's techno raves, and came out of it with a word for the feeling she found there: eusexua, a euphoria she said could make you "transcend human form." She called the record "deep but not sad."
Koreless co-produced most of it, with Stuart Price and Eartheater among the other producers. The title track, built by Koreless and Eartheater, opens the album on a four-on-the-floor kick with twigs' voice floating high above it, and "Perfect Stranger" and "Drums of Death" kept the club pressure up as the singles that followed. Pitchfork's Rich Juzwiak gave it 9.1 and called it a "masterful pop-star moment."
It reached No. 3 in the UK, topped the UK Dance chart and the US Top Dance Albums chart, made the Mercury Prize shortlist, and won the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album, her first.
