Released September 6, 2024 via Sony Music: David Gilmour's first solo album in nine years, the follow-up to 2015's Rattle That Lock. The Pink Floyd guitarist and voice returns with nine tracks produced alongside Charlie Andrew, intimate and unhurried, carrying the unmistakable Gilmour tone from the first bar. The album entered the UK chart at number one.
The title track grew from a 2007 jam featuring the late Richard Wright, bringing his Pink Floyd bandmate's keyboards back into the frame one more time. "Between Two Points" hands the lead vocal to his daughter Romany Gilmour. Across "Black Cat," "The Piper's Call," "Dark and Velvet Nights," and "Scattered," the record settles into reflection on time, mortality, and family.
